In short

Since October 20, 2026, Webflow Campaigns has been a standalone product that lets marketing teams build landing pages and matching ads from a brief with AI, even without a Webflow website. According to the pricing page, it starts at $2,000 a month. That pays off for teams running lots of paid campaigns on HubSpot, Marketo or Salesforce; for most small and midsize companies, landing pages in their own Webflow project cost far less.

What is Webflow Campaigns?

Webflow Campaigns is a standalone tool for landing pages and ads that runs next to your existing website. Webflow launched it on October 20, 2026 on its own blog. The idea: marketing should be able to launch campaigns without waiting for a slot in the web team's sprint.

Good news if you are not on Webflow: according to the product page, Campaigns has no connection to your CMS. Your main website can stay on WordPress or any other system.

How does Campaigns work?

Webflow describes the workflow in four steps:

  1. Capture your brand: Campaigns reads your existing website and turns it into a reusable design system with fonts, colors and styles. You can also upload your own design.md file instead.
  2. Sharpen the brief: An AI agent works out audience, message and goal with you.
  3. Build: The brief turns into a landing page, variants per persona, industry or individual account (each with its own URL), plus matching ad creatives in several formats to download. You can refine them in the visual editor or through the Webflow MCP, meaning by prompt from Claude or ChatGPT. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard that lets AI assistants access other tools.
  4. Launch and measure: Pages go live with one click on a subdomain of your choice. Forms come from HubSpot or Marketo, and you send Performance Max campaigns straight to Google Ads. Reporting shows sessions and conversions, pipeline impact via HubSpot or Salesforce, and recommendations from the AI.

What is DESIGN.md?

DESIGN.md is an open plain-text format that hands your design rules to an AI agent. It is published by Google Labs on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. The file combines machine-readable design tokens (fixed values such as color codes and font sizes) with explanatory text. The spec is still at version alpha, so expect changes.

Our take: this is the most interesting part of the announcement. A well-maintained DESIGN.md also helps you in Lovable, Claude or Figma-adjacent tools. Derive it cleanly from your corporate design once, and you get more consistent results across all your AI tools, whether or not you ever buy Campaigns.

How much does Webflow Campaigns cost?

According to the Webflow pricing page, Campaigns starts at $2,000 a month, so at least $24,000 a year. The launch announcement lists no price, only a demo request. Webflow does not publicly say what else drives the price (pages, visitors, seats).

For comparison, also from the pricing page:

Option Starting price per Webflow What you get
Webflow Campaigns from $2,000 per month Landing pages, variants, ad creatives, Google Ads connection, pipeline reporting, independent of your CMS
Landing pages in your own Webflow project site plan from $15 per month (Basic, billed yearly, no CMS) Pages in your own design, built by you or an agency
Plus Webflow Optimize from $299 per month, based on page views A/B testing and personalization, up to 5 tests at once

The table compares license costs, not labor. With the cheaper options, someone builds the pages by hand or with AI help in the Webflow Designer.

Who does Campaigns pay off for?

Campaigns makes sense when three things come together:

  • You regularly launch paid campaigns, webinars or account-based marketing (ABM, campaigns aimed at specific target companies) and need several new pages every month.
  • Your web team or agency is the bottleneck, and every week of waiting costs measurable pipeline.
  • You already use HubSpot or Marketo, with Salesforce or HubSpot as your CRM. Otherwise the pipeline reporting stays empty.

For most small and midsize companies running one to three campaigns a quarter, that is overkill. Our take: if you have $24,000 a year to spend, you can also get a clean landing page system in your own Webflow project, with reusable components your marketing team fills in themselves. How that route compares to WordPress is covered in our Webflow vs. WordPress comparison.

What does this mean for you?

Before you book a demo, get answers to these points, because the public pages do not cover them:

  • Data protection: Where are form and visitor data stored, is there a data processing agreement (DPA) for Campaigns, and how is tracking tied to your cookie consent? Without answers, do not put a page live in the EU.
  • Channels: According to Webflow, only Google Ads is connected directly. For LinkedIn or Meta, you download the creatives and build the campaign there yourself.
  • Forms: Only HubSpot and Marketo are named. If your leads come in through other forms or a Make or n8n workflow, ask how that fits. For HubSpot, note that from October 26 you can no longer create new private apps; see our article on HubSpot private apps.
  • Domain: Pages run on a subdomain. Decide which one (for example campaign.yourcompany.com) and who adds it in your DNS settings.
  • Brand fidelity: Check the generated design system against your corporate design before the first page goes live. An automatically scanned website is only as good as the website itself.

One more thing: since October 15, 2026, the Webflow MCP also works in Google Gemini, so far only in English, in the US and with a personal Google account.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Webflow website to use Webflow Campaigns?

No. Webflow describes Campaigns as a standalone product with no connection to your CMS. Your main website can keep running on WordPress or another system.

Can I use Campaigns with Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Through the Webflow MCP, you can build and edit campaign pages by prompt from compatible AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT. Alternatively, you work in the Campaigns visual editor.

Can I sign up for Webflow Campaigns on my own?

Not at the moment. The pricing page only lists a starting price of $2,000 a month, and you buy through sales after a demo.

How is Campaigns different from Webflow Optimize?

Optimize tests and personalizes existing pages, starts at $299 a month and is priced by page views. Campaigns creates new landing pages and ads from a brief and connects them to Google Ads and your CRM.
